Laurentano of Medford, formerly of Boston's North End and Somerville, passed away on January 15, 2016. Loving son of the late Alfonso Lauretano and the late Jean "Gina (Matarazzo) and her late husband Vito Maniscalco. Beloved husband of the late AnnMarie (Testa) Laurentano. Devoted father of Anthony Laurentano and his wife Maribeth of Lynnfield, Joseph Laurentano and his wife Sandy of Florida, Elaina and Alan Laurentano, both of New Hampshire, and Christine Laurentano of Boston. Loving grandfather of Melissa, Julianna, Gianna, Jayden, and Brandon, and two loving great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of Josephine Maniscalco, Dolores D'Alfonso and her husband Tony, Albert and Rudy Maniscalco. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Anthony worked with his grandfather Emilio Matarazzo to create lights, and decorations for many North End feasts. Visiting hours were held at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, Medford, followed by inurnment at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston, on January 23% Contributions in Anthony's name may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Bevilacqua, has been elected to the City of Haverhill City Council after serving 18 years on the Haver- hill School Committee. Bevilacqua, who is the Presi- dent / CEO of the 1,000-member Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce, noted that he was overwhelmed and honored that the voters of Haverhill elected him to now serve as a member of the Council.
