They may get angry at someone who annoys them but they also show great compassion to people in need. A dragon has a long tongue which is often seen. So in Chinese astrology the dragon person born in this Chinese Zodiac year has a sharp tongue - they will say things that can be quite sar- castic and biting. The person born in the Chinese Year of the Dragon can be quite a confronting person but if you can reach their "soft heart" they are worthwhile allies. 2012 is the Chinese year of the dragon. So what does 2012 hold for a person born in the Chinese Year of the Dragon? Such people such double their efforts in what- ever they do -- work, educa- tion and other projects. Their natural talent and abilities should stand out with great results. However, watch out for that temper! Now onto February and Valentine's Day. It's a good sign for Eastie that rents have gone up nearly 14 percent. If people are willing to pay the hike, it means that Eastie has something to offer ... A true Eastie activist has passed away recently. Nick Moscaritolo who owned and operated the landmark Barney's Grill on Havre Street for nearly 70 years passed on after a brief ill- ness. He will be missed by many friends and family ... Congrats to Clark Moulaison and the East Boston Main Street Board of Directors for another outstanding "Taste of Eastie." Hundreds were in attendance at the 16 TM an- nual event with lots of new faces! Restaurants that par- ticipated got the best expo- sure by providing samples of their products to potential customers ... Let's talk about the junk mail that we all re- ceive every day. Why aren't environmentalists complain- ing about it? Tons and tons of junk mail paper is picked up every day by trash collec- tors that are costing cities and towns a huge amount of money. Besides the junk mail, we get nuisance solic- iting phone calls on a daily basis. Can't someone in charge put an end to this unwanted means of adver- tisement? I stay away from companies that pollute my mailbox and tie up my phone with advertisement ... Is there any newspaper in this country that tells it as it is? It's expected Joe "Free Oil" Kennedy will be pouring a lot of that free oil money into his son's campaign. By the way there is no such thing as "FREE OIL." Joe has made mega billions on the taxpay- ers by selling the oil he pur- chases from his friend Hugo Chavez to our government. His alliance with Hugo Chavez, who by the way doesn't like America but likes Joe, has earned Joe the rights to purchase oil from Chavez very cheap and turn it into huge profits when he sells it to the United States. Only in America ... It was no sur- prise when it was announced that former Mayor of Revere Tom Ambrosino was named Executive Director of Mass. Supreme Court, taking his position immediately. Ambro- sino a friend of Governor Deval Patrick and Barack Obama was destined for a high position. With that be- ing said, Ambrosino is more than qualified having gradu- ated Harvard Law School. I believe he will do better in his new position in the Supreme Court than he did as Mayor of Revere ... It was a shock that Newt Gingrich won South Carolina! Evi- dently he won the forgive- ness of the Evangelicals. His campaign strategies are out of control and dangerously sour. If he can't capture the nomination for president, he wants to hand it back to so- cialist Barak Obama. It ap- pears Conservative Newt is jealous that Moderate Con- servative Mitt may become the front runner for the Re- publican Party.
