POST-GAZETTE, FEBRUARY 24, 2012 Page 5 Revels and arsenalARTS Present Revels Repertory Company in "An American Journey" Revels' acclaimed 40-member touring ensemble of adults and children, Revels Repertory Company, brings the story of American immigration to life in this origi- nal stage production written and directed by Patrick Swanson with Revels Rep direc- tor Kay Dunlap. Set on a crowded passenger ship in 1907, at the height of American immigration, the 90-minute musical production follows a group of Italian, Irish and Eastern European Jewish families who share not just their music and songs but their hopes and their dreams as they leave their homelands and hardships behind in search of a better life for their families in America, the land of hope and promise. "An American Journey" will be presented Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 3:00 pm in the Charles Mosesian Theatre at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. The show is appropriate for adults and children and includes audience participation, a Revels hallmark. Come early! Join us for a free pre-perfor- mance talk at 2:30 pm: "Researching Your Family History" by Rhonda R. McClure, New England Historic Genealogical Society. Doors will open at 2:15 pm.
