And they became starkly evident one afternoon outside New- ton North. "There was a dis- pute between black and white students," recalls War- ren. "People from outside the community arrived to meet the Metco bus that brought black students back to Boston. White students shouted racial slurs, fights broke but. It lasted four days:" Setti stood up. And spoke out on the evils of racism. Preferring cooperation, not confrontation, he views that moment as "transformative" in the ways a person in pub- lie office can bring about rightful change. Newton Mayor Ted Mann called him to City Hall, and asked: "How can we make things better?" He and his friends got busy, Setti explains: "We de- cided to create the Unity Rib- bon that became symbolic in uniting students to come to- gether to resolve and under- stand students of different LEGAL NOTICE Commonwealth of Massachusetts The Trial Court Middlesex Division Probate and Family Court Department 208 Cambridge Street Cambridge, MA 02141 Docket No. 15W0139 SUMMONS BY PUBLICATION JEANETH KILDER GRAMAJO, Plaintiff(s) v.
