Campbell begins with "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," which he co-wrote, followed by country's Band Perry's superb rendition of "Gentle On My Mind," daughter Ashley delivers two gems as a tribute to her dad, "Remembering" and "Home Again," and Campbell spews his love for wife Kim with "All I Need Is You." Glen's battle with Alzheimer's is addressed in the lyrics of "The Long Walk Home," memories are evoked with his two stunning 'live' performances from Ryman Auditorium, of "Wichita Lineman" and the heart-wrenching "A Better Place" with lyrics that hit home, finishing off Camp- bell's farewell tour with single versions of Glen's "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," and Band Perry's "Gentle On My Mind." Music's ultimate 'human touch!' CLIFF MARTINEZ-FILM FESTIVAL GENT Milan Records Cliff Martinez's film themes are performed by The Brus- sels Philharmonic in excit- ing fashion. They combine Martinez's original electronic instrumentation with a full- blown symphonic orchestra, adding layers of complex mu- sical duality to his works. His nontraditional scoring re- sulted in tracks that are em- bellished, and explode, from films that are mostly dark, psychological creations. The film 'Solaris' offered a pair that includes "First Sleep," from 'A l'origine' a trio. with "Les Territoires Inconnus," the singl e 'Kafka' track has "Eddie's Dead," and from 'Only God Forgives'-- "More Hands." BOB DYLAN - SHADOWS.IN THE NIGHT Columbia Records :Columbia Records takes ten Bob Dylan tracks and creates the artist's 36 th stu- dio set, and his first new music since 2012's 'Tem- pest.' The music is sterile in the sense that the recording includes no overdubbing, no vocal booths, no headphones, no separate tracking, and basically mixed, as it was re- corded. Dylan takes these ten well-known songs and Dylan- izes them in a unique way, using standards as, "I'm A Fool To Want You," the haunt- ing "The Night We Called It A Day," the pleading "Stay With Me," plus the rustling "Au- tumn Leaves," and the ques- tioning "Why Try To Change Me Now." With more than 125 million records sold around the world, Dylan con- stantly retools his music to appeal to fans young and old. The Rodgers/Hammerstein beauty "Some Enchanted Evening" sets the pace for second half gems as, "Full Moon And Empty ArIns," on a mission for "Where Are You?," followed by Irving Berlin's classic "What'll I Do," and fin- ishes up with the memorable "That Lucky Old Sun." Dylan interpretations provide an experience -- not to be missed! DOESN'T THE FBI HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN THIS? As I read last Saturday's Boston Herald, I wondered about that news report about the FBI being called into a Revere police investigation over "anti-Muslim mes- sages" discovered earlier last week including offensive graffiti and anti-ISiS com- ments. Is this what the re- cent "Countering " Violent Terrorism" seminar was all about? The FBI states they LEGAL NOTICE Commonwealth of Massachusetts The Trial Court Middlesex Probate and Family Court 208 Cambridge Street Cambridge, MA 02141 (617) 768-5800 Docket No. MI15P0300EA Estate of JOSEPH W. County Sheriff Steve Perhaps, had the Obama Tompkins for helping the City White House sought to niP0f Boston dealing with snow ISIS in the bud rather than calling them the JV squad, we wouldn't have a global threat facing civilization. Why are they making this Revere case a federal case? Sounds like it could have been left to the Revere police to handle. CELEBRATING ST. Susan Garsh "not to cry' when shown a photo of her murdered son. What is wrong with this judge? Can you imagine the uproar had a male judge said such a thing to the mother of a murder victim? The judge in this case should have been called on the judicial carpet for her quite insensitive remarks. I say it would have been strange for any mother not to cry at such a sight. An apology is still owed to Ursula Ward. However, she shouldn't hold her breath waiting for one. The sheriffs Com- munity Works Program works for the 25 inmates in the program and for all of Bos- ton. I saw work crews work- ing hard along Dorchester Av- ,enue two weeks ago making the avenue easier to handle. The workers come from the House of Corrections and thus far this seems like a great idea for all involved. LIBERTY MUTUAL TEXAS BOUND? Boston based-Liberty Mu- tual is apparently eyeing the same Dallas, Texas metro area for its site as a new hub for 4,000 employees, none of which will be relo- cated Bay State workers. The company will remain in Boston, but their eyes are certainly roaming elsewhere. Will they downsize the Bos- ton office? How committed are they really to Boston? I want to know and so does City Hall. SOUNDS LIKE MacARTHUR IS RUNNING THE MBTA Outgoing MBTA General Manager Beverly Scott is starting to sound like Gen- eral Douglas MacArthur. Last week in talking about get- ting the T back on track she commented that the MBTA would take back control sta- tion by station, line by line and switch by switch. What are we in a war with snow now? Send in special opera- tions with shovels and plows? Howie Carr had a good point in last Friday's Boston Herald. Back in the old days if Boston was getting hit with a major snowstorm, the trains ran all night long to keep the tracks from mount- ing snow. The problem right now has less to do with the age of the trains on the tracks, but with the tracks themselves and the switches too. The way the T has been fighting winter over recent years, all it needed was a major offensive by snow to put it out of commission.
