When Pororo -- the curious little penguin who dreams of becoming a Super Sled champion -- accidentally causes an airplane being piloted by turtles Toro and Mango to make an emer- gency landing in Porong, his life takes an exciting new turn. Pororo and his friends hitch a plane ride to the ice metropolis of Northpia, to participate in the Super Sled race and become the next champion. But to win, they must compete against the former champions, led by the White Tiger, the schem- ing brown bears and numer- ous other teams. Along the way, Pororo will inspire not only the cynical duck sports- casters Chip and Walter, but all of the animals of Northpia! 22 BULLETS (Blu-ray) Cinedigm Lifelong mobster Charly Mattel (Jean Reno) has turned over a new leaf and left his past as an outlaw behind him. With his former business firmly under his oldest friend's control, Charly has spent the past three years living a quiet, com- fortable life, devoting himself to his family. One winter morning he's left for dead in the underground parking garage of Marseille's Old Port with 22 bullets in his body. Against all odds, he will not die. After his miraculous recovery, he goes on a hunt for vengeance that takes him back into the criminal underworld he thought he'd left behind forever. AUSTENLAND (DVD) Sony Pictures Home Ent. Jane Hayes's (Keri Russell) adoration of all things Jane Austen is complicating her love life. Determined to be the heroine of her own story, Jane spends her life savings on a trip to Austenland, an eccentric resort where guests experience complete immersion in the Regency era. Armed with her bonnet, corset and needlepoint, Jane strives to avoid spinsterhood ... but has a difficult time determining where fantasy ends and real life -- and maybe even love -- begins. Jennifer Coolidge and Jane Seymour star in this romantic comedy. ALL IS LOST (Blu-ray) Lionsgate Home Ent. Robert Redford delivers one of the finest performances of his career in this thrilling film about one man's battle for survival, after his sailboat is destroyed at sea. Using only a sextant and nautical maps to chat his progress, he is forced to rely on ocean currents to carry him into a shipping lane in hopes of hailing a passing vessel. But with the unrelenting sun, sharks circling and his meager supplies dwin- dling, the ever-resourceful sailor soon finds himself staring mortality in the face. A Cannes Film Festi- val sensation! DALLAS: SECOND SEASON (DVD) Warner Bros. Home Ent J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman), one of the most iconic tele- vision villains of all time, takes his last breath under very suspicious circum- stances, but not before stir- ring up a season's worth of Texas-size trouble. J.R. deviously guides his son, John Ross in stealing the family business from Chris- topher and Bobby, while the ladies take their own sides. Sue Ellen (Linda Gray) runs for governor, Ann takes aim at her ex, Harris, and Pamela and Elena prove that being beautiful and fighting dirty sometimes go hand in hand. Plus, Elena's brother, Drew, and Ann's long-lost daughter Emma, add their own agen- das to life at Southfork. It's a season of drama, and even though J.R. and his Stetson are laid to rest, he's still call- ing the shots, bequeathing a legacy he calls his 'mas- terpiece' and leaves the nor- mally unshakable Ewing family in shock! MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH (DVD) HBO Home Ent. He touches on subjects as his troubled youth, landmark boxing career, prison time and fam- ily in his candid style. ANYONE REMEMBER KING'S CASTLE LAND DOWN IN WHITMAN For many years I lived on the South Shore and when my daughter was little she loved going to King's Castle Land down in Whitman on Route 18. The Patriot Ledger did a nice story on the place and owners Clarence and Paula Whitney are both in their 80s now. This cozy little amusement park was there from 1968 until 1994. I still remember riding that mini roller coaster that looked like a dragon. My daughter convinced me to ride with her. I was sick and dizzy for a couple of days following that "little kid's roller coaster" as my daugh- ter called it. I was sick and she wanted to ride it again. I told her "go tell your mommy to ride the next ride with you." Too bad nice little places like that aren't around anymore. Things seemed so simple back then.
