We don't want to forget to congratulate the generous board of trustees and many supporters of the "Believe in Met" Gala, which celebrated the 15 th anniversary of the Neighborhood House Charter School (NHCS) in Dorchester. The event raised more than $665,000. Founded in 1995 as one of the original 14 charter schools in Massachusetts, the NHCS serves 400 stu- dents and we are told has a waiting list of more than 2,000.
