We don't want to forget to congratulate the generous board of trustees and many supporters of the "Believe in Met" Gala, which celebrated the 15 th anniversary of the Neighborhood House Charter School (NHCS) in Dorchester. Guests gathered at the Chestnut Hill home of NHCS trustees Sherry and Alan (Photo by Roger Farrington) Leventhal for cocktails, din- ner, student entertainment and a live auction. The event raised more than $665,000. Founded in 1995 as one of the original 14 charter schools in Massachusetts, the NHCS serves 400 stu- dents and we are told has a waiting list of more than 2,000.
