POST-GAZETTE, MARCH 13, 2015 Page5 N00'.00vs from RUFF ... o A Frank De Pasc uale Venture c; February was brutal. We hope all members have stayed warm and safe. We are all dream- ing of Spring! e RUFF ANNOUNCEMENTS: ik iL.February buried Boston in snow but RUFF has been hard at work for a Spring fundraiser to raise funds for the poten- tial dog park in the Flights. , The City and RUFF i. have plans set for the construction of a pilot park in the Flights. If the snow ever melts (have faith!) they will start the clean up and preparation process. RUFF looks forward to keeping everyone updated and have some hands-on help from members. MARCH DATES: March 17 th- 7"00 pro, Nazzaro Center - Monthly Meeting - Details on the venue, date and sponsors for the Spring fundraiser will be covered. If you are interested in getting involved, donating or sponsoring, please join them on March 17 th or contact RUFF at info@ruffboston.org. March 26 th - RUFF Social Thursday, 7:00 pm - Lucca - It's been a long winter, you need an excuse to get out! Join them for a bite or beverage and catch up with other RUFF members. DEPENDING ON WEATHER Keep an eye out for a notice of a group playtime or dog walk. RUFF REMINDER RUFF has received a LOT of complaints about dog waste not being picked up. No mat- ter how cold or how much snow you MUST properly clean up after your dog. If you cover it up with snow, the snow will eventually melt and the poop will STILL be there. Let's make Spring a little more enjoyable by picking up after the dogs. Please remind others that cleaning up and proper disposal of pet waste is a 365 day a year responsibility. Reminder please keep a watchful eye that Fido doesn't pee on personal property.
