The St. Joseph Society of Boston's North End held a very successful dinner dance recently at Spadafora's in Malden, Massa- chusetts. The annual event is a fundraiser for the St. Joseph Feast in the North End. It also raises money for charities that the society supports each year. Ugo has been painting for over twenty years, he is a self taught artist, and only in the past two years he has been showing his art. He paints, mostly on paper with watercolors: places where he lived out- side of Italy; Argentina, France. Japan and Montreal. He has been living in Cambridge, on and off, for the past 30 years; he is also a self taught Biologist; publishes several articles on research he conducted on Alzheimer's disease at Harvard. and Keio University in Tokyo. He is currently a Laboratory Manager at Brigham and Women's Hospital, at Harvard Medical School. Exhibition: Consulate General of Italy, 600 Atlantic Avenue. 17tu floor, Boston, MA.
