POST-GAZETTE, APRIL 9, 2010. Page 7 You can email your questions to to the attention of Freeway. Don't forget folks, Freeway is not a vet. so please keep the questions light-hearted! Thanks. Lately my last few columns have been all about friends. Now I need to get down to pooch business and relate to what I was hired to write before I get laid off[. Guess what!-I'll be the only pooch in history to get fired from a job. How often do we pooches sit next to our human companions and wonder if they are happy with us? My human companion considers me a friend. I'm faithful and true. She takes me everywhere. We visit the beaches and the parks rather than spending another day snoozing at home. There are so many woof- wonderful pet stores all waiting to be explored. It does not matter to pooches where we go. We don't care about the weather. I love investigating new shops and every dog bak- ery I can find. Your pooch wants to be with you, they are there to please and love every minute of your company and can add pleasure and fun. Whether you have a pampered pooch, a rambunctious hound, or a family couch potato they want to enjoy time and be out with their human compan- ions, It is wonderful to explore and be with family they thrive on that extra attention and time spent together, It has been a long winter and a rainy one at that. Now that the weather will be nice we are into April you can take your pooch friends on day trips; dog parks; play fly ball: or just to socialize. Just remember even though we are only in the'month of April, I want my pooch friends to let their human companions to try to remember "Mother's Day" and also Memorial Day. This year the Post-Gazette is offering our readers an opportunity to remember their loved ones by placing a "Memoriam" in our Memorial Day issue. Sizes you may choose from are: I" x 4" 820.00 dollars or 2" x 4" $40.00 dollars To remember your loved ones send your memorial lines and contact information to the Post-Gazette, P.O. Box 130135, Boston, MA 02113. Make check payable to Post-Gazette: That's all for now. Life is being happy so share a smile with a friend.
