1 ',1 llkikLIUk_ ' POST-GAZETTE, APRIL 23, 2010 Page5 Revere America Kicks Off National Petition Drive to Repeal and Replace ObamaCare Governor George Pataki, Kerry Healey and Bill Binnie Headline Revere America Rally at Boston's Paul Revere Mall Flanked by former Massachusetts Lt. Gov- ernor Kerry Healey and US Senate candi- date Bill Bennie (N-NH), former New York Governor George Pataki, Chairman of Re- vere America, launched a national cam- paign to repeal and replace ObamaCare. The rally at Boston's Paul Revere Mall was Revere America's first stop of a nationwide tour to gather the signatures of one million Americans who, according to Pataki, "want to repeal ObamaCare and replace it with the responsible reforms our healthcare system needs and the American people want. Pataki said: "235 years ago today, Paul Revere em- barked from this place on his historic ride warning the people that their freedom was in danger. The people joined together. They defeated liberty's enemies. Our unwaver- ing commitment to freedom has been the cornerstone of a nation that has prospered and flourished. "In recent years, that has changed in alarming ways. Washington liberals have enacted one policy after another that chip away at our precious freedoms and threaten to change the very essence of America. "The recently enacted government take- over of health care -- a.k.a. ObamaCare -- is perhaps the most egregious example of an unfettered power grab by Washington Liberals in our history. I'm proud to be in Boston today with Kerry and Bill as we gather signatures on our national petition Scott Bauer at the Revere America table at the Prado in Boston's North End, to repeal and replace ObamaCare with the responsible reforms our healthcare system needs and that the people want. Today's Revere America rally is part of a three-day, six-state tour that spans across the country, and that will ultimately take the Revere America petition drive to all 50 states. The petition is also online at www. revereamerica.org.
