The Rick Hammett Quintet Zumix's Jazz Week East begins with a soulful nod to the blues. It features a quin- tet of veteran Boston musi- cians with Rick Hammett, trumpet and tenor sax; Joe Bargar, keys and vocals; Ed Lucie, bass; Bobby "gui- tar" Gus, guitar; and Kenny Hadley on the drums.
