Actor/comedian Steve Rannazzisi plays "Kevin," the League Commissioner on FX's hit show The League. Rannazzisi got his first taste of television success in 2003 as one of the smart-ass cast members on MTV's Punk'd. After being recognized on stage by Ashton Kutcher at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood, Steve was quickly signed up for the show. Since then Steve has contin- ued to make audiences laugh in tele- vision, feature films and on comedy stages across the country. Kevin James, producer, co- writer, and star of the hit comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Zookeeper and the recently released Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, can also be seen in the upcoming ensemble sci-fi comedy P/xe/s. James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After be- ing discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom. The King of Queens, which pre- miered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and ex- ecutive producing, and it garnered him an Emmy nomination in 2006 for Out- standing Lead Actor in a Comedy Se- ries. The show concluded its run in 2007 but continues to air daily in syn- dication across the country and around the world. I n 2001, James brought his stand-up act to TV with Sweat the Small Stuff, a one-hour spe- cial for Comedy Central. In 2005, Kevin James and Ray Romano executive produced and starred in the HBO Sports Special Making the Cut: The Road to Pebble Beach; a documentary about the Pebble Beach Pro Am Golf Tournament that was nominated for a Sports Emmy.
