As I See It Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July. ,, : A holiday that celebrates the independence of America. (Or are we an independent country any longer)??? ... Why are American flags be- ing removed from govern- ment subsidized buildings? According .to Brandywyne residents a few are upset that owners have asked them to remove any Ameri- can flags that are displayed on their units. Brandywyne is privately owned but government subsidized. So where is the order coming from??? ... Veterans are also angry that the government owned cemetery located in Bourne, Massachusetts down the Cape that is used to bury veterans of all wars have stricken God and Jesus from eulogies! Many people are complaining they're living in a socialist government that is heading towards commu- nism! I agreel The govern- ment has way too much say in our business! So when you vote keep in mind you should not vote in ultra lib- eral democrats running for office[ ... The traffic is piling up at the Meridian Street Bridge with the Chelsea Street Bridge closed. Some people are still in awe of him; while others are relieved the FBI's Most Wanted has been captured! Many feel he's a disgrace to Southie's good name. As a taxpayer, I object to Whitey getting free council with all the millions he has stashed in safety de- posit boxes. If they can't find out where the boxes are lo- cated, his brother Billy should dig into his pocket to pay his expenses. He gets a hefty retirement check plus the money he's made over the years[ ... Speaking of South Boston, it's so chi-chi to live there. Property is well kept, and most of the neigh- borhoods still have their same neighbors living next door. On the waterfront gor- geous restaurants have been built. Many upscale restaurants designed in ex- quisite contemporary ddcor are popping up. It's a definite must-see. With the 4 th of July Boston Harborfest activities and the Extreme Sailing Fan Pier was filled with many visitors[ Boston Celebrates July Fourth (Continued from Page 1) (Photos by Rosario Scabin, Ross Photography) dl ", . . } '*": 1 "' "** =r I "., \\;\ '\.
