Davey Johnson Back as a Manager The Washington Nationals on June 26 named Davey Johnson as manager after Manager Jim Riggleman re- signed over a salary dispute. He is best remembered as the manager of the NY Mets seasons ago. A likeable guy with good instincts as a manager. He is a perfect manager for this team. He's always been a good manager and put many prima donna, big buck players in their place. Surely, even at 68 years old, he is a youthful kind of baseball guy. They had a 9-1 season record and then took down the Cubs in a championship double header. Kudos also to the Cubs players and all the players and coaches who make up the NEAA baseball program. Baseball isn't just about winning, though win- ning is nice. It is about [eam play, working together on common goals and respect- ing others. PRAYER TO ST.
