Dubbed "The Voice of Romance," Corso's voice runs the range of baritone to tenor and has a magical quality that seems to mesmerize his audiences. His music, which is influenced by Caruso, Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, and Josh Groban, will take you on a musical journey through Italy. Born and raised in Ventimiglia on the Ital- ian Riviera, Corso began performing at pri- vate and public events throughout Italy and at the age of 11. Now residing in Florida, Franco Corso has per- formed for Donald Trump's Mar-a- Lago Club, and to sold out shows throughout the United States. Performing a unique musical blend of Pop Italian and Operatic styles, Corso has entertained local audiences at the Berkelee Performance Center in Boston, MA, the Fisherman's Feast in Boston's North End, and the Feast of the Three Saints in Lawrence, MA. Special Entertainment will be provided by Vinyl Groove on Friday, Melissa Jane, Beantown Swing Orchestra and Cigar Authority with David Garofalo on Saturday and Melissa Jane on Sunday. A small procession will happen on Friday, but the Procession of the faithful accompanied by four marching bands will happen on Sunday. There will be a Grand Raffle all three days. The feast closes on Sunday at 11:00 pm with the return of the Madonna to her perma- nent chapel. On August 8, 9 and 10, the Saint Rocco's Feast Associa- tion will celebrate 85 years of tradition during their annual "Grande Festa." Saint Rocco's Feast has been an integral part of Malden's community. The feast has grown signifi- cantly over the years with locals and visitors and many former Malden residents who view the feast as an infor- mal "Family Reunion". The Saint Rocco Society was founded in 1927 in Malden, Massachusetts, and the first Feast was held in 1929, 85 years ago. One of the oldest societies in Massachusetts, it has become one of New England's premier summer events. Festivities begin on Friday August 8 th at 6:30 pm, with a procession led by the statue of Saint Rocco followed by musical entertainment by the "Keep it Real Band". Saturday night is going to be a nonstop laughing night with Malden's finest talents hitting the stage! Emcees Dave Russo and Paul Gilligan will hit the stage, followed by Charlie Farren and capping off the night will be the hilarious Joey Voices impersonating some of the most talented artistsl On Sunday the festival honors Saint Rocco with a full procession in the streets of Malden starting at 2:00 pm. DJ Julio will be spinning tunes until the back by popular demand "Beatlejuice" hits the stage. Mix 104.1FM will be on deck handing out goodies along with free ice-creaml Don't forget the outstanding "home cooked" Italian food all weekend, plus games for the children. At birth it was noted that he had a red cross-shaped birthmark on the left side of his chest. As a young child, San Rocco showed great devotion to God and the Blessed mother. At an early age, his parents died leav- ing him an orphan under the care of his uncle, the Duke of Montpelier. Soon after, San Rocco distributed his wealth among the poor and took a vow of poverty.
