THE ITALIAN-AMERICAN VOI~ ~. ~C~ 15 ~mj (Formerly LA GAZZETTA del MASSACHUSETTS) VOL. 121 - NO. 34 BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, AUGUST 25, 2017 $.35 A COPY 107th Maddona del $occorso - isherman 3east .by Matt Conti iilj ~i~i!~!i!!)/:ii /;iii i i!ilili!!iiii! bg Antifa Hides in Plain Sight This past Sunday in the Boston Herald, a member of the Antifa movement was interviewed in by a reporter while in his Antifa costume, which completely disguises him from view. Earlier last week, on CNN, a group of at least a dozen Antifa members dressed all in black -- black cap, black sunglasses and a black bandana-- were caught on camera as their leader was interviewed by a CNN reporter. Can you image the liberal news media interviewing a hooded Klansman for a TV interview? Wouldn't happen! If you want to go on TV and spout your stuff, don't hide yourself all in black. Show your face. As far as I am concerned, the Antifa crowd is nothing more than a bunch of goons and thugs who oppose free speech if it isn't in line with their thinking. American debate is going toxic as too many think they are so right that all "Right thinking people should be with them." Was that Sheriff Roscoe Down in Durham County, N.C. P We all saw what happened when a mob in Dur- : !i ham County attacked a Confederate Monument and toppled it, then kicked and spit on it while law enforce- ment acted more like police monitors than police officers. They watched while folks just went wild in the streets. Later, I watched the sheriff hold his press conference to defend what his force did, or didn't do to be more accurate. He stood at a microphone and stated that no one should confuse restraint for doing nothing. No one was confused. We know what doing nothing looks like and that's what happened. That sheriff should be ashamed of himself for allowing law- breakers a free hand.
