Did the police not see these weap- ons? Do people bring weapons to debate one another over public policy? Looked pretty clear, a lot of people came looking for a fight and a fight they got. Recently, on CNN, the net- work's senior political analyst, David Gergen, when talking about President Trump, said the president had =hatred in his heart." AND he ain't the only talking head in the liberal media talking like that. Everybody wants to be shrink- ing and tell us what kind of mental illness our president is suffering as if they actually know anything. Makes the liberal media look like idiots. Great Letter in NY Post A recent NY Post letter writer from Manhattan made an astute observation. Said the writer, =If everyone would like to remove vestiges of slavery, why don't we abolish the Democratic Party?" He's right. Southern Democrat slave owners helped bring on the Civil War and nearly 100 years later tried to filibuster the Civil Rights Act when it was getting debated up on Capitol Hill. Too many of us are too igno- rant of our U.S. history, which is why folks in one small town protested a Civil War statue not knowing that he guy on the horse was in the Union Army uniform. Ignorance is bliss.
