Several weeks ago right here in the Post-Gazette you first heard of the proposed MILLION MUSLIM MARCH on Washington on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Wash- ington, D.C.'s City Council granted a permit to American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC), a fringe group led by M.D. Rabbi Alam to hold its Million Muslim March Against Fear in the Nation's Capital"on Septam!lex l!th, Most Americans see this as a slap in the face on the 12  anniversary of that day when 19 Saudi terrorists killed over 3,000 innocent people and also the first anniversary of the attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans including our ambassador Christopher Stevens. (Continued on Page 14) Speaking of Name Calling U.S. Secretary of State John F. Kerry recently stated this is not the time for "armchair isola- tionism." Funny hearing him saying this. Do you remember back in 1971 when Kerry began his "Live Shot" career showing up to testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in his Navy fatigues about how evil America had become in Vietnam. He criticized U.S. policy and said U.S. soldiers were killing innocent men, women and children. We were all war criminals. By the way, who could forget Kerry's act of cour- age protesting the war by allegedly ripping off someone else's medals and throwing them over the wall of the Pentagon? Quote to Note "If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy." -- President James Madison Sad Anniversaries September 11 th will mark the 12 th anniversary of the attack on America back in 2001 when ter- rorists attacked New York City and the Nation's Capital. Over 3,000 Americans died that day and they will never be forgotten. Also never to be forgotten is September 1 I, 2012 when four Americans died in Benghazi and we (Continued on Page 12) Last weekend on Septem- ber 7 th and 8 th the 87 th an- nual Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian took place in Cambridge, MA. It was orga- nized by the Society of Saints Cosmas and Damian, which was formed in 1926. During the Feast Warren and Porter Streets at Gaeta Square were closed off and filled with local vendors for the enjoyment of all in attendance. The cel- ebration began on Saturday when the statues of the saints were taken out of their chapel and it concluded on Sunday at 10:00 pm when the statues were returned to their chapel after an eight hour procession. The procession started at 1:00 pm mass and procession honoring Santa Rosalia and it was organized by the Santa Rosalia took place in the North End, starting in North di Palermo Society founded in 1939.
