Back during the Super Bowl, Cint Eastwood did a great commercial about the auto industry and how D,etroit was back. It was one of the best TV spots during the game. However, Clint's appearance on stage at the GOP Convention was beyond explanation. He had no game in Tampa. Looked li]ke a lost old man on stage. I loved watching E:astwood back in his "Rawhide" days, but with- out a script or teleprompter, he was a deer star- irg into the headlights. Hopefully, this wasn't a sign of this coming November. I Thought Warren was Running Against Brown? The other day at poolside, I was listening to 105.7 for some good old hit tunes from the '60s and '70s when an Elizabeth Warren radio spot atred. She never mentioned Scott Brown, but went after Todd Akin'way out in MiS*souri as if she were running against Todd for a U.S. Senate scat. The commercial plays the audio that got Akin in all kinds of hot water. The voice over says it isn't 1952 anymore.
