Do the groups want vacant lots to remain and leave di- lapidated houses as is, or do they want these eyesores rehabbed? When these neighborhood associations knock down projects and businesses they're sending the message don't expect to build or do business in and Chaz back? They're a horde of anti-capi- talist protesters that believe in "share the wealth." Many of these people haven't taken showers in weeks, never held jobs and look like a bunch of troublemakers who love the media attention the socialist/communist move- ment is giving them! If the renegades have a mes- sage they need to march on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House, and shout their message, whatever it is to President Obama who is running this country into the ground!! ... The Greenway's, long awaited pedestrian path is slated to begin construction and hopefully be completed by 2013. The project is to start at Jeffries Point and hookup with the E.B. Sta- dium, and go in back of a small stretch of Massport owned property that used to tend to Constitution Beach. The East Boston Waterfront Greenway design project is in connection with the City of Boston, Massport and the Boston Redevelopment Au- thority. The Emerald Neck- lace envisioned by former State Representaive Gus Serra is in its final planning ... Casino gambling is around the corner. Many people approve while others believe it will create com- pulsive gamblers, crime, etc. Compulsive gamblers will gamble on anything, anywhere, any place! Why not have .Massachusetts get a piece of the pie? ... Elec- tions are around the comer. It is your right to vote so take advantage of that and make sure you vote for the candidate of your choice ... In Revere a mayoral election has got tongues wagging. The race between Rizzo and Rotundo is heating up as Rizzo is slated as the City Hall choice and Rotundo is considered the voice of the people and not tied to City Hall ... Till next time! The bride is a resident of Revere, Massachusetts and the groom is a resident of Lynn, Massachusetts. Michela is the daughter of Raffaele and Norma Cappuccio. Pasquale is the son of Cosmo and Katherine DiNitto. The destination wedding in Mirabella was chosen by the couple who celebrated among many family members and friends in Italy and abroad. Mirabella holds a special place in their heart as it is the hometown of the bride's father and they were able to celebrate with the bride's grandmother who also celebrated her 101 t birthday at the reception. The wedding mass was celebrated at the Parrocchia Santa Maria Maggiore by Don Remigio. Following the Mass, Mayor of Mirabella Eclano, Vincenzo Sirignano surprised the couple with a cocktail reception in the piazza with a champagne toast, music and confetti. He gifted the couple with a plaque of the "Carro." The wedding happened to also coincide with the famous annual Festa Dello Carro where thousands of resi- dents, local visitors and Bostonians celebrate this Feast. This plaque is given to immigrants who left Mirabella but continue to keep ties to their roots; an honor which the couple accepted on behalf of the bride's parents who Addolorata Vitale Cappuccio (center) celebrated her I01 "t birthday at her granddaughter Michela's wedding to Pasquale Cosmo DiNitto. A multi- course meal was followed by a salume reception in the Villa's cantina where guests were treated to carved prosciutto and other fine salume accompanied by local wines and cheeses. The receptio.n ended with a lavish sweet table which included delicious pastries, liqueurs and a spectacular fireworks display personally hosted by Mayor Sirignano. The happy couple honey- mooned in Thailand. The couple would like to thank family and friends who traveled to Italy and those in .Italy who cele- brated this momentous occasion.
