Italian Culture Night Boston Children's Museum TASTE OF ITALY-- MEDFORD Members of the Kiwanis Club of Medford with TV Diner's Billy Costa. The Medford Kiwanis Club, a civic service organization made up of Medford residents, held their 9 a annual "Taste of Italy," on Oc- tober 21 t. The event, as all of their events, is a fundraising effort for improving children's quality of life. It was hosted by TV Diner's Billy Costa and featured large quan- tities of food and beverages from the area's surrounding Italian restaurants and pastry shops as well as wine and beer distributors, raffles, auctions and entertainment. Among the featured participants were: Alamo Roast Beef, BeIGioioso Cheese, Bertucci's, Bob's Food Store & Imports, Bobby C's Restaurant, Boccelli's Ristorante, Budweiser Anheuser-Busch, Cafe' Piazza Dolce, Carroll's Restaurant, CB Scoops, Cold Stone Creamery, Colleen's, Chocolate by Sparrow, Expresso Plus, Focaccia's, George's Bakery, Grafton Village Cheese, Harrow's Chicken Pies, Hofls Bakery, Jack's Restau- rant, J. Pace and Son, Lucia's Ristorante, Marty's/Montvale Plaza, Mystic Coffee Roasters, Modem Pastry, Nestle Waters North America, Not Your Average Joe's, Piantedosi Breads, Ravi's Ristorante, Regina Pizzeria, Rosaria Steak House, Salvatore's Restau- rant, Sebastian's Restaurant, Vinny's, Volare, Yoki Sushi and World Wide Wines. Italian Culture Night takes place on Friday, November 15 , from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Children's Museum located at 308 Congress Street, Boston MA. The program includes: Compagnia Marionettistica Carlo Colla e Figli: The Puppetry Company Carlo Colla and Sons Is one of the most well-known companies in the world, with nearly three cen- turies of activity and featuring life sized marionettes. Emmy Nominated Matt Roberts Charismatic Comedy Magic: Magician and comedian Matt Roberts presents interactive, hilarious and amazing shows that you will never forget. MIT Science: MITaly Science Playground. Newpoli: Newpoli is a group of exceptionally talented mu- sicians who specialize in Southern Italian Folk Music, mainly from the regions of Campania and Puglia. Italian Culture Night will also feature Coro Pirandello, face painting and mosaics.
