POST-GAZE'I-rE, DECEMBER 26, 2014 Page 5 Thank You from St. Agrippina's Society ;, A Frank De Pasc uale Venture :: St. Agrippina's member- ship held its 20th annual Christmas Program for North End children on Sun- day, December 14% The pro- gram once again, was a huge success! Santa Claus arrived at St. Agrippina's Chapel via fire engine. There were many families anxiously waiting for his ar- rival, while holiday music played. Santa Claus took an individual picture with each child, gave him or her an age appropriate gift, a balloon and a gift bag filled with school supplies and candy treats for over 125 children. Santa's friends Batman and Blades from the Boston Bru- ins made special guest ap- pearances. Furthermore, the Boston Celtics Cheer- leaders made their annual visit to the program and added plenty of smiles and good wishes to the families of the North End. A very merry good time was had by everyone that attended. The membership would like to thank the follow- ing for their support of the program, Councilor Sal LaMattina, State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz, Knights of Co- lumbus, North End Against Happy Holidays from the cl'2rio#era Drugs, Green Cross Phar- macy, VFW Post 144 North End, Al Dente's, Bene- vento's, Mangia Mangia, Monica's, Rodman Insur- ance, Fisherman's Society, Bianco's Sausage Company, Millinium Cleaners, Bal- loons Over Boston, Mike's Pastry, Umberto's Pizzeria, North End Fire Station, Hill- side Press, Marina Ortega of the Boston Celtics, Post- Gazette and Patty Papa of the Mayors Office of Special Events The membership of St. Agrippina's Society is very proud of our Christmas Program for North End chil- dren.
